This Classic Victoria Lacework is an old original design of Lacework. It has the pattern on both sides of the casting. It is also available in a flat back version. This design originated in Victoria in the 1860 period during a period of extreme popularity for cast iron lacework and balustrade. Many of the old style designs originated from the ballust from the ships arriving from Great Britain. This old cast iron was used to stabilize ships at sea.
