With the popularity of Heritage Restoration numerous classic designs of both lacework and balustrade are now available. Many of these designs are exact replicas of original 1860 designs approved by the Heritage Department at your local shire in conjunction with the National Trust. These designs are suitable for the Home Handyman. They are easy to install with right angle fixing lugs. Stair balusters are now available, numerous designs match with the original balustrade designs. These balusters are also available with an angle lug for quick and easy installation.
As there are many hundred lacework and balustrade designs many original designs are no longer available for purchase. In many cases the old rusty lacework can be replaced with a new old style lace. If this is not possible your old lace can be reproduced to match the original lace. This is very important when restoring National Trust listed properties or those properties with Heritage Development Restrictions
