This typical Queensland style home with the large flowing verandah with a typical old style verandah panel featuring sheafs of wheat.This verandah is complimented by the vast amounts of free flowing sandsville lacework.A design dating back to the 1880 period common in Queensland architecture.These old style balustrade and lacework designs would most likely have been manufactured by a local foundry with few designs of lacework or balustrade available, however with a large range of decorative ironwork including cast iron baths,verandah posts and bird baths.
