Decorative corner brackets enhance the verandah of this Federation Style home. The corner brackets create the complete Lacework look without fitting the frieze in between as a result of the size of the verandah. The spans between the posts are small therefore creating an image of archways between posts. A Federation home similar to this is common in parts of New Zealand and very common in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide during the Federation period of the 1920 period.
