Lion Posts are manufactured in non rust aluminium.The castings are an exact replica of the old cast iron lion posts of the early Victorian days.There is a large range of fence finials available manufactured in aluminium and also there are two intermediate posts to choose from.However we are suppliers of the components to manufacture these Heritage Fences,we dont manufacture the finished item.We may be able to assist with manufacturers of these items
The quarter capital is made in four parts and is found approx 600mm from the top of the post.It usually sits underneath the corner bracket.These castings are mostly found on buildings built in that 1860 to 1900 period.However verandah posts are manufactured today using the quarter capital as decoration.
